On Thursday, September 24, 2015 at approximately 7:30 p.m., a car being driven on the Capital City Freeway at El Camino Avenue struck an on-ramp metering light. Three of the four occupants in the car were taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver had to be extricated from the vehicle by the fire department. He suffered major injuries as a result of the crash.
