Fun Things to Do in SacramentoFun Things to do in Sacramento

I’m Ed Smith, a Sacramento Car Accident Lawyer. If you are thinking of heading to Sacramento, California on a family vacation or as a romantic weekend getaway, there are so many interesting and unique things to do. From museums to night life and everything in between. No matter what your interests are or who you are going with, there is just something special about Sacramento. Even if you have lived here your whole life, hopefully there are still a few things on this list that you have never heard of or been to before. It can still be exciting to explore your own hometown. So, here are some of the best and most exciting things to do in Sacramento, no matter what you are into.

Sadly, serious traffic accidents occur all the time.  One tragic Sacramento car accident occurred recently that included two fatalities and several injuries in a single family.  A Hyundai Santa Fe driver failed to stop at a stop sign, striking a Chrysler Town and Country, propelling it across the Alta Arden Expressway, and colliding with a Toyota Sienna, traveling the opposite direction.  Another recent collision in South Sacramento happened when a teenager apparently drove a Dodge Challenger at more than 100 miles per hour, striking a pickup truck and causing the death of the pickup’s two occupants.

But even much less dramatic Sacramento car accidents can result in serious injuries or even death.  The California State Office of Traffic Safety has collected statistics showing particular problems for the Sacramento area for drunk driving, with Sacramento ranking 4th out of 13 major urban areas in the State for alcohol-involved accidents and 3rd out of 13 urban areas for collisions resulting from underage drinking.  Sacramento was also 5th out of 13 cities for hit-and-run incident percentages.
