One Killed in Fatal Car Accident in Brentwood

At least one party was killed in a fatal car accident in Brentwood, CA, on the early morning of Tuesday, December 1, 2020. The car crash occurred in Brentwood yesterday on southbound Vasco Road near Walnut Boulevard, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported. Initial reports by CHP traffic units revealed that two vehicles, a 2008 Chevrolet HHR and a 2015 Ford F-150 pickup truck, were involved in a deadly head-on collision at approximately 3:45 a.m.

Three Injured in Crash on Highway 4 in Brentwood

Three parties were injured and hospitalized after a crash on Highway 4 in the Brentwood area on the morning of Sunday, November 22, 2020. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that the Brentwood traffic accident happened on State Route 4, just east of Balfour Road, at approximately 4:45 a.m. Crews from the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District (ECCFPD) located three injured parties and closed SR-4 in both directions. One of the three injured individuals was transported via air ambulance to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek for treatment of serious injuries. The other two parties were taken by ambulance to the hospital. The cause of the two-vehicle collision in Brentwood is under investigation by CHP traffic officials.

Hit and Run Pedestrian Accident in Brentwood

The Brentwood Police Department (Brentwood PD) is investigating a hit and run pedestrian injury accident that occurred on the morning of Monday, November 23, 2020. A female pedestrian was hit by a car in Brentwood in the 1000 block of Mill Creek Way. Officers from Brentwood PD were dispatched to the scene and found a woman lying in the roadway. Authorities said she was conscious and alert after the hit and run and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Two Injured in Brentwood Area Traffic Collision

Accident reports by the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District (ECCFPD) suggested that two parties were injured in a traffic collision in the Brentwood area on the night of Saturday, November 21, 2020. The Brentwood car accident occurred at the intersection of Marsh Creek Road and Sellers Avenue at approximately 9:30 p.m. Before the arrival of ECCFPD crews and the California Highway Patrol (CHP), a passerby reportedly put out a fire with a fire extinguisher that reportedly started in one of the cars involved in the motor vehicle accident. Six parties were involved in the car wreck, including three minors, according to CHP traffic officials. Two individuals were transported to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. Additional details on the wreck were not immediately available.

On 11 July, a blue Honda Civic traveling westbound on Byron Highway veered into the opposite lane for unknown reasons. A gold Mazda minivan travelling in the opposite direction was unable to avoid the Civic. The two vehicles then crashed in a head-on collision.
