The Brentwood Police Department (Brentwood PD) is investigating a hit and run pedestrian injury accident that occurred on the morning of Monday, November 23, 2020. A female pedestrian was hit by a car in Brentwood in the 1000 block of Mill Creek Way. Officers from Brentwood PD were dispatched to the scene and found a woman lying in the roadway. Authorities said she was conscious and alert after the hit and run and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

The Brentwood car accident occurred at the intersection of Marsh Creek Road and Sellers Avenue at approximately 9:30 p.m. Before the arrival of ECCFPD crews and the California Highway Patrol (CHP), a passerby reportedly put out a fire with a fire extinguisher that reportedly started in one of the cars involved in the motor vehicle accident. Six parties were involved in the car wreck, including three minors, according to CHP traffic officials. Two individuals were transported to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. Additional details on the wreck were not immediately available.
