Pedestrian Fatality Accident Occurs on Antelope Road

A pedestrian fatality occurred in Antelope on March 14 after a person on foot was hit by a motor vehicle while crossing the street. The incident occurred along Antelope Road near Daly Avenue around 4:00 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The North Highlands driver of a BMW was traveling west along Antelope Road and was apparently unable to stop in time to avoid striking the pedestrian. 

Antelope Road Intersection Rollover Accident Causes Critical Injuries

A rollover accident occurred in Antelope on March 10 after the driver’s vehicle struck a light pole. The collision occurred at the Antelope Road intersection with Sassafras Way during the evening hours, sending two people to a hospital. Sacramento Metro Fire said one person was extricated who had suffered critical injuries. 

Elverta Road Intersection Accident Results in Minor Injuries

An intersection crash in Antelope caused minor injuries on February 13 and involved three vehicles. The collision happened around 6:25 p.m. along westbound Elverta Road at Watt Avenue, partially blocking the intersection. A Toyota Sienna van, Ford F-350 pickup and Ford Escape were involved in the crash, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP) report of the incident. 

Walerga Road Accident Reported Involving Two Vehicles

A two-vehicle crash in Antelope on January 9 resulted in minor injuries in what appears to have been a rear-end collision. The accident happened along Walerga Road just south of N Loop Boulevard around 10:26 a.m. It involved a Chevy Avalanche and Toyota Camry. 

Two-Vehicle Traffic Accident With a Fatality and Injuries Occurs on Elverta Road

The driver of a Mazda died in a two-vehicle traffic accident on December 22 after striking the patrol vehicle of an off-duty deputy with the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office. The accident happened along Elverta Road westbound around 2:00 a.m. The deputy was going north along Watt Avenue when his patrol car was T-boned by the Mazda. 

Walerga Road Intersection Pedestrian Accident Involves Motor Vehicle

A pedestrian accident with a motor vehicle in Antelope resulted in serious injuries to the walker on November 29. The pedestrian was hospitalized as a result. The accident happened at the Walerga Road intersection with Antelope Road at around 6:00 a.m. 

Vehicle Ends Up on Sidewalk in Shandwick Drive Intersection Crash

Minor injuries were reported in Antelope after a two-vehicle crash on October 5. The accident occurred around 6:50 a.m. at the intersection of Shandwick Drive and Walerga Road when a Honda crashed into a black vehicle and ended up on the sidewalk. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) said the accident blocked the southbound roadway, and a tow truck was required to remove a compact car and station wagon.

Pedestrian Injured in Accident at Antelope Road Intersection

A hit-and-run with injuries occurred in Antelope on February 28 in an accident with a pedestrian in a crosswalk. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported the collision around 3:51 in the afternoon at the intersection of Antelope and Roseville roads. However, the individual who was struck phoned police to report the incident from another location and said that it happened at Watt and Orange Grove avenues. 

Antelope North Road Accident Injures Minor

A bicycle injury happened in Antelope on February 18 when the rider was involved in a collision with a pickup truck. According to the police report by the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the accident occurred around 4:22 in the afternoon along Antelope North Road, where it crosses Poker Lane. A juvenile on a bicycle was found to have suffered head and neck injuries by emergency responders with the Sacramento Fire Department. 

Teen Arrested in Scotland Drive Accident in Antelope

A suspected drunk driving accident in Antelope on June 18 ended up with the arrest of the driver after the vehicle hit a tree. The accident happened on Scotland Drive at Kirsch Drive at about 1:30 in the morning, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The CHP and responders with Sac Metro Fire arrived to discover one female and three males in the car at the time.
