A biker from Citrus Heights suffered serious accident injuries in a motorcycle crash on June 6 along U.S. Route 101. The accident happened shortly before 2:00 in the afternoon when the rider, identified as Edward Andrews, was going around a curve to the left, north of Cummings Road near Garberville. I would like to take this opportunity to send my condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Andrews.
A motorcycle collision occurred on May 30 just outside of Citrus Heights along eastbound Elkhorn Boulevard. The accident was reported at about 8:49 in the morning between a Pontiac sedan and a motorcycle. It occurred where Elkhorn Boulevard intersects with Diablo Drive northwest of Interstate 80. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) responded to the collision, and an ambulance was summoned to transport one person involved in the crash to a nearby hospital.
