Highway 50 experiences substantial commuter traffic, particularly during weekday mornings when motorists are traveling to work, school, and other destinations.

Heavy traffic, sudden braking, and frequent lane changes can increase the risk of collisions. Drivers should maintain a safe following distance, remain attentive to surrounding vehicles, and adjust their speed to changing traffic conditions.

Avoiding distractions and checking blind spots before changing lanes can also help reduce the likelihood of freeway accidents.
