Two Injured During Woodland Auto Accident

According to officials from the Woodland Police Department (WPD), two people suffered injuries during a Woodland auto accident on Sunday, July 12, 2020. The accident involved two vehicles, including a United States Postal Service mail truck. While the truck driver reportedly did not suffer severe trauma, the extent of the other party’s injuries is not currently known. The accident remains under investigation at this time.

Hit-and-Run Harms Woodland Pedestrian

California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that a Woodland pedestrian was seriously injured during a hit-and-run auto accident that took place in Yolo County just outside of Woodland. According to reports, the crash happened in the early morning on Highway 113. Updates on the condition of the injured man haven’t been reported and police are still searching for the missing driver and vehicle. Additionally, the pedestrian was identified as a 29-year-old man from Woodland.

Woodland Hit-and-Run Collision

A Woodland hit-and-run crash took place on Tuesday, May 26, 2020. According to reports from the Woodland Police Department (WPD), the collision was a hit-and-run. However, officers were able to locate the vehicle and driver shortly after the crash occurred. The driver was subsequently placed under arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol resulting in injury. Information regarding the number of injured parties has not been released.

Major Injury Woodland Car Crash

The Woodland Police Department (WPD) indicated that a major injury Woodland car accident took place on Tuesday, April 28, 2020. Police indicated that the accident happened during the afternoon in the southern part of the city and involved two vehicles. According to reports, only one individual was injured during the accident. Updates on the injured individual’s condition have not yet been released by hospital personnel.

Three Injured During Woodland Head-On AccidentCalifornia Highway Patrol (CHP) officials have reported that a serious collision took place near Woodland on Friday, October 19, 2018. The accident reportedly left three individuals with major injuries, despite being a relatively low-speed crash. According to officers, the collision involved only two vehicles and happened on a highway location just north of the city. Additionally, CHP has stated that they believe driving under the influence may have been a cause of the accident. All three injured individuals were taken to a hospital to receive emergency medical care for their injuries and, so far, updates on their conditions remain unavailable.
