A major injury vehicle crash occurred near Woodland on December 15 when a pickup and sedan collided along Interstate 5. The collision occurred around 5:00 p.m. just north of the off-ramp for County Road 22. It was reported by the California Highway Patrol (CHP) that the sedan was pushed up against the center divider trapped inside their vehicle. 

Traffic Collision Involving Three Vehicles on S.R. 16 Causes Injuries to One Person

A traffic collision involving three vehicles and resulting in at least one injury occurred in the Esparto Unified area on November 2. The accident happened on westbound S.R. 16 just west of County Road 82 near Woodland at around 8:37 a.m. The accident report by the California Highway Patrol (CHP) stated that the collision involved a Toyota Camry, Chevy Equinox and Ford pickup, blocking the number one lane westbound. 

Accident on Interstate Off-Ramp Causes Minor Injuries

A two-vehicle crash north of Woodland caused minor injuries on May 13. The accident occurred along northbound I-5 at the northbound State Route 16 off-ramp around 6:38 in the morning. The accident report issued by the California Highway Patrol (CHP) said the collision involved a Tesla and Chevy pickup and blocked lanes one and two on the off-ramp. 

Accident on US 50 Involves Three Vehicles

A Woodland multiple-vehicle accident on April 30 ended up with one person being transported to a hospital. The collision occurred shortly after 10:00 a.m. along westbound US 50 at west Interstate 80. The report issued by the California Highway Patrol (CHP) said it involved three vehicles, including a Nissan Sentra and a Volkswagen van. Lanes one and two were blocked by the crash. 

Accident at County Road Intersection Involves Four Vehicles

A head-on crash north of Woodland on March 5 reportedly involved multiple injuries. The accident happened around 6:03 p.m. along County Road 102 and CR 16, involving four vehicles. The collision was reported by the California Highway Patrol (CHP) as involving two pickup trucks, a Toyota and a white sedan. 

Injury Accident Along I-5 Involves Driver Who Flees the Scene

A hit-and-run with injuries happened in Woodland on December 27 in a collision involving two vehicles. The incident was reported by the California Highway Patrol (CHP) around 12:42 in the afternoon on north Interstate 5, just north of the on-ramp for southbound SR 16. The accident was initially reported as involving only a single vehicle but amended later when officers realized another car had been involved. 

One Injured in Woodland Rollover

A Woodland rollover accident left one person with serious injuries on Wednesday, April 22, 2020. According to staff from the Woodland Police Department (WPD), the accident happened in the early afternoon and involved only two cars, one of which was parked. The driver of the vehicle has since been placed under arrest for charges related to driving under the influence. The crash remains under WPD investigation.

One person sadly lost his life during a Woodland area crash that took place on Friday, February 14, 2020. California Highway Patrol (CHP) reports stated that the accident involved three vehicles and happened in the late afternoon in a rural area outside of Woodland. Yolo County officials have identified the decedent as Jose Moliana Felix, a 40-year-old man from Ukiah. In addition to the deceased, three other people suffered injuries as a result of the accident.
