According to officers of the Vallejo Police Department (VPD), a motorcyclist lost his life during a local car accident that took place on the morning of Monday, June 10, 2019. The accident reportedly involved a motorcycle and a sedan. Authorities of the Solano County Sheriff’s Department have only identified the fatally injured man as a 38-year-old resident of San Pablo pending the notification of the man’s family. The accident remains under investigation by VPD. My sympathy is with those who’ve tragically lost a person they love because of this accident.

The Solano County Sheriff’s Department released the identity of an individual who lost their life during a pedestrian auto accident that took place in Vallejo on Sunday, June 9, 2019. The man was identified as 65-year-old Rodeo resident Charles Edwards. According to police reports, Edwards had been a pedestrian walking on a local highway when the fatal accident occurred. California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that a Vallejo woman lost her life in a Bay Area car accident on Sunday, June 9, 2019. According to police, the crash involved only one vehicle and happened in the early morning. Reports indicated that one person was placed under arrest for DUI charges related to the collision before being taken to a hospital for emergency care. The woman has been identified by the Contra Costa County Coroner’s Office as 23-year-old Maria Granados of Vallejo. The fatally injured party has only been identified as a 70-year-old man from Vallejo. Solano County officials say that they are waiting to release the man’s full identity and will do so after his family is notified. According to reports, one other person suffered minor injuries during the crash. This person was identified as a 41-year-old Vallejo woman. The crash happened a day earlier on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, and involved a single vehicle. Elliot had been a pedestrian walking in the downtown area of Vallejo. Vallejo Police Department (VPD) officers are investigating the crash to find out what factors were involved. The fatal crash reportedly took place directly after another accident in the same location. Officers report that the fatally injured man had been trying to help those hurt by the first crash when he was struck. The man was identified by Solano County officials as Randall Chunn, a 21-year-old resident of Palmdale. The crash involved a single vehicle occupied by two individuals, a mother and child of unspecified age. According to reports, the mother was killed during the accident. The child suffered injuries as well but thankfully survived the crash and was not seriously hurt. So far, officials have not reported the identity of the fatally injured woman.
