Here Are Some of the Areas Where an Injury Lawyer Can Help

Our attorneys have successfully handled many accident injury claims due to their years of experience. In order to determine who is at fault, an investigation must be conducted first. Two-vehicle crashes are often caused by motorists who are speeding, distracted, or impaired. Additionally, evidence supporting a client’s wrongful death claim may be found through investigation.

Investigation of Accidents Using Evidence Techniques

When it is determined that the other driver in the crash was responsible, evidence has to be gathered that supports the family’s wrongful death claim. By recovering compensation, it can help them avoid the financial stress of a sudden death and also help bring them closure. As part of our investigation, we employ the following techniques:

  • During the investigation of the accident, a check is made to ensure there are no mistakes in the police report. A wrongful death claim may be denied if there are mistakes.
  • Our investigators reconstruct the accident by determining how the crash occurred and where the vehicles were positioned. Evidence of this kind is often used by insurance companies and in civil court to determine which driver was negligent.
  • Interviews are conducted with witnesses to a fatal highway accident in Vallejo in order to gather corroborating evidence. It is not uncommon for witnesses to videotape or capture the accident on their cell phone either during or after it occurs.
  • The traffic cameras in the area are examined to see if the fatal highway accident in Vallejo was captured on film. An accident involving two vehicles could be subpoenaed if video footage of it was captured.

Upon determining the facts of a wrongful death claim, our injury lawyers compile the evidence in support of a grieving family’s claim for compensation. Clients benefit from this by collecting their loved one’s wages until retirement age, their funeral and burial expenses, compensation for the loss of household assistance, consortium and more.
