Accident on Browns Valley Road Claims Life of Driver

A fatal one-vehicle crash was reported in Yuba County near Browns Valley east of Vacaville on July 12. The accident occurred along Highway 20 (Browns Valley Road) near its intersection with Marysville Road at about 4:30 p.m. The accident report issued by the California Highway Patrol (CHP) said the collision happened when a Gilroy man, 27, in a Toyota Tacoma pickup went off the highway and struck several trees. 

Motorcyclist Struck by Pickup After Crossing Over Into Oncoming Traffic

A motorcycle accident fatality occurred in Dixon recently in Solano County when a rider failed to make a curve. The collision was reported by the California Highway Patrol (CHP) as occurring along West A Street. According to the report, the deceased rider, age 29, was on his Harley-Davidson and going about 55 mph when he failed to negotiate a curve, crossed the double yellow lines, and was struck by a Ford F-550 going eastbound. 

Accident on I-80 Occurs When Minivan Driver Miscalculates Lane Change

A fatal accident occurred in Vacaville on January 10 when a minivan collided with a big rig. The collision occurred shortly after 5:00 a.m. along westbound I-80 near Alamo Drive. The report issued by the California Highway Patrol (CHP) said that the minivan was changing lanes when it collided with the big rig, which caused the van to exit the roadway, where it experienced several rollovers. 

Vacaville Man Killed in Car Crash

On the afternoon of Saturday, June 19, 2021, a 51-year-old man was killed in a car crash near the intersection of Foxboro Parkway and Peabody Road in Vacaville, California. The Solano County Coroner’s Office later identified the victim as Gary Copeland, a Vacaville resident. 

Pedestrian Killed During Vacaville Hit-and-Run

On Friday, January 15, 2021, one person lost his life after he was struck by a vehicle in a Vacaville hit-and-run car accident. Solano Area California Highway Patrol (CHP) has stated that the accident happened in the morning in a rural area and that officers are still searching for the missing vehicle and driver.
