Fiery Truck Crash on Highway 152 in Madera County
Two parties were injured after a fiery truck crash on Highway 152 in Madera County on the early morning of Tuesday, June 23, 2020. The big rig accident occurred around 6:00 a.m. on CA-152 near Road 9. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that a diesel truck hauling garlic was involved in a traffic collision with a Honda. The impact caused both vehicles to veer out of control. The tractor-trailer caught fire, and the trucker escaped the big rig with injuries described as minor. The driver of the Honda suffered a femur fracture, officials said. An ambulance responded to the scene to transport at least one party to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno for treatment.
