City officials are reminding citizens and business owners in Folsom that now is the time to prepare for potentially powerful storms.  Storms they say could cause localized flooding, extended power outages and treacherous driving conditions.

Chief Phillips explains that powerful and concentrated rains may very well be one of the biggest potential problems. A major concern to his department is that large amounts of rain may begin to fall all at one time. This, he says, could lead to some areas of urban flooding.

One would think that running a full marathon is challenging enough, right?  Well think again.

An officer from Folsom Police Department is taking marathon running to new heights!
