WHY: No one wants to miss the 23rd anniversary of the Folsom Renaissance Faire. The theme of this year’s Faire will be Shakespeare’s Muse.
Over this fun-filled weekend, the Folsom City Lions Park will be transformed into a charming Elizabethan town. It will be filled with so many characters and vignettes resembling those found in Shakespeare’s plays. Over 900 costumed entertainers and over 100 artisans and shopkeepers will explode onto the scene with much ambiance. Guests to the Faire will feast on turkey legs as well as exotic foods and drinks.
