An Antelope accident during the evening hours of September 12 caused a pedestrian fatality. The collision happened at the intersection of Walerga and Elverta roads around 10:11 p.m. when the pedestrian was struck by a black sedan, according to the incident report by the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene of the accident, and first responders with Sac Metro Fire arrived at the site, where the pedestrian was declared dead. The CHP is conducting an investigation to determine how the pedestrian fatality accident occurred and to assign fault.

Accident at Don Julio Boulevard Intersection Caused by Fleeing Driver

A pedestrian death occurred in Antelope on November 29 when a man was struck by a hit-and-run driver. Accident on Watt Avenue Causes Death of Longboard Rider

Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who struck and killed a woman on October 30 in Antelope at about 7:10 p.m. and then fled the scene. The woman who was killed was identified as Kia Goss, age 40. She was riding a longboard southbound in the northbound bicycle lane on Watt Avenue near Elverta Road when the accident happened, according to Officer Greg Zumstein, a spokesman for the North Sacramento California Highway Patrol (CHP). Paramedics arrived to declare the woman deceased around 10 minutes after the accident occurred.

Motor Vehicle Accident With Pedestrian on Watt Avenue

A pedestrian fatality occurred in Antelope on October 16 after the walker was struck by a van. The incident happened around 4:00 p.m. on southbound Watt Avenue just south of Navaho Drive, according to the report by the California Highway Patrol (CHP). After emergency responders arrived at the scene and declared the pedestrian dead. The decedent has been identified by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office as 38-year-old Steven Antonio Sanchez.

Elverta Road Site of Fatal Antelope Accident

Two people died in a single-vehicle crash in Antelope on September 22. The accident occurred on Elverta Road between Northam Drive and Aztec Way before 1:00 in the early morning hours, according to a representative of the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The report by the CHP said that the vehicle with two males aboard was heading down Elverta Way when it left the roadway and hit two trees. The impact caused the car to split into three parts. First responders tried to resuscitate the men, but tragically, they died at the scene due to the impact’s force. The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office has identified the decedents as 18-year-old Christian William Buck of Elverta and 18-year-old Bradley Patrick Johnson of Antelope. Driver Charged With Drunk Driving in Antelope Pedestrian Death

A drunk driver may have caused the death of a pedestrian, age 65, along south Walerga Road in Antelope on January 19, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The pedestrian was identified as a North Highlands resident named George James Xedes. The accident happened around 12:35 in the morning close to Elverta Road as the man was walking on the roadway and was struck by an older Toyota Corolla being driven by a Rocklin man, age 25. First responders declared The pedestrian deceased, with the Sacramento Fire Department about 10 minutes later.

The accident occurred when a woman, age 49, got out of her vehicle and was struck by two drivers who were heading west on Antelope Road.
