Antelope Pedestrian Fatality Accident

An Antelope pedestrian fatality happened recently along Antelope Road between Grey Wolf Drive and Walerga Road. The accident occurred when a woman, age 49, got out of her vehicle and was struck by two drivers who were heading west on Antelope Road. According to a report by the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the accident happened at around 7:00 in the evening. The woman was taken to a local hospital and was declared dead there. Her identity has not yet been released by authorities. I would like to extend my sympathy and prayers to family members and friends of the victim in this unfortunate accident.

Further Details of the Antelope Pedestrian Fatality

According to authorities, the drivers of both vehicles stayed at the crash site and were cooperative. It is not believed that drugs or alcohol were factors in the incident. Officials with the CHP will be conducting an investigation into the crash to determine how it occurred.

Government Fault in an Antelope Pedestrian Fatality Accident

Poor lighting, untrimmed shrubbery that obscures signs and other factors may lead to an Antelope pedestrian fatality or injuries. When a government entity is involved, it is important to contact an experienced lawyer right away because the timeline to file for compensation is much shorter than other types of personal injuries.

How a Personal Injury Lawyer Can Help

An injury lawyer who is experienced in dealing with pedestrian accidents can perform an investigation at the accident site, using crash reconstructionists, examine photos and videos, talk to witnesses and use other methods to determine exactly how the collision occurred. By building a strong case, the family may be helped to get through the difficult time of their loss, at least financially.
