Major Injuries Reported in Highway 37 Speeding Vehicle Crash

The crash happened on Highway 37 around 8:32 p.m. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) preliminary investigation determined the driver had been speeding when their vehicle hit a guardrail and the overcrossing concrete rail for Highway 29.

Traffic Diverted Due to an Accident on State Route 37 

A major traffic accident in Vallejo closed down State Route 37 on November 16. The collision occurred in the westbound lanes, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP) incident report. Two of the vehicles involved in the collision were a Mercedes Benz SUV and a truck. 

Three Lanes of Busy Interstate 80 Closed

Three lanes along a busy stretch of eastbound Interstate 80 in Solano County were closed for a period of time on Sunday, August 15, 2021, due to an injury accident. The Sig Alert that had been issued in relation to the incident was withdrawn, and all lanes were reopened about an hour and a half later. 

Sideshows, Fireworks, and Gunshots – Oh My!

Vallejo, California, experienced a hectic and dangerous July 4th weekend, and the city’s police force is now asking for help. Over the weekend, police were forced to contend with gunshots, illegal fireworks, and a number of sideshows. On one occasion, when officers attempted to intervene in a sideshow, they were met with thrown firecrackers. There were also arrests for blocking first responders. 

Vallejo Auto Accident Causes Serious Injuries

On Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at least one individual sustained serious injuries during a Vallejo auto accident. Per the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the crash happened in north-central Vallejo at night and involved multiple vehicles. The number of people who were hurt during the accident, as well as specific information about the nature of the injuries sustained, has not been reported. Additionally, CHP officers are actively investigating the cause of the crash.
