Motorized Bicycle Kills Pedestrian on H Street

A motorized bicycle accident on March 26 claimed the life of a pedestrian. The accident happened along H Street close to San Miguel Way about 4:45 in the afternoon. The Sacramento Police Department reported that the pedestrian, age 72, was hit by the bike. The motorized bike was operated by an unidentified male, age 54. Police are urging any witnesses to the crash to notify them at 916-808-5471. My deepest sympathy goes out to the family and friends of the man who died for their terrible loss.

Fatal Pittsburg Hit-and-Run Crash

A man lost his life in a fatal hit-and-run accident in Pittsburgh last week. The late night accident is still in the process of being investigated by Pittsburg police officials, and they are still actively looking for witnesses, surveillance video, or anything else that will lead them closer to identifying the driver that fled the scene. As a result of the collision, West Leland road was temporarily closed until the morning. I want to take this brief moment to offer the full extent of my sorrows and prayers for all the loved ones of the victim.

Auburn Man Involved in Fatal Grass Valley Crash

A man from Auburn was involved in a serious crash that happened in the Grass Valley area on Friday, March 22, 2019. Reports from California Highway Patrol (CHP) state that the accident left one person with fatal trauma. The identity of the fatally injured man has not yet been released by authorities of Nevada County. The accident reportedly involved only one vehicle and police say they suspect the crash was caused by negligent driving and the involved driver was arrested at the scene of the crash. I’d like to offer my condolences to the grieving family of the person who tragically passed away during this crash.

Second Woman Died in Carmichael Accident

A second woman died Saturday from an earlier accident that occurred in Carmichael. The accident happened on March 23 and involved two older women who were hit by a vehicle while walking. The first woman died as a result of her injuries on Friday. Both women were aged 72. The accident occurred when the walkers were struck by a 16-year-old girl who was driving west along Arden Way, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). I would like to offer my sympathy to the friends and families of the two women who died in such a tragic way.

Carmichael Pedestrian Fatality Involves Elderly Woman

A Carmichael pedestrian fatality occurred on March 22 when two older women taking a walk in a residential neighborhood were struck by a vehicle that drifted off the road. The women, both 72-years-old, were walking along the shoulder of Arden Way, close to McClaren Drive, at around 9:30 in the morning when the tragedy occurred. One of the women died at the accident site, while the other suffered major injuries.

Rocklin Teen Killed in Solo Vehicle Accident 

A solo vehicle accident in Rocklin recently cost the life of a young man. He was identified as 17-year-old Logan Rafter. Rafter had been hailed a Good Samaritan when he and his friends stopped to help four senior citizens who had an accident along Highway 65 just two months prior. Rafter was a senior at Rocklin High School. I would like to offer my prayers and sympathy to this young man’s family and friends for their loss.

Fatal Accident in South Redding

Authorities of the Shasta area California Highway Patrol (CHP) have reported that a major car accident happened in south Redding on Sunday, March 17, 2019. The crash left one person with fatal injuries. The fatally injured person has been identified as a 21-year-old Redding resident. However, the person’s full name has not been made available pending his family’s notification. The accident involved one vehicle and did not injure any other individuals. The collision remains under investigation by CHP investigators.

Vallejo Man Identified After Benicia Motorcycle Accident

Officials from the Solano County Sheriff’s Office have released the identity of a local man who lost his life in a recent motorcycle accident. The man was identified as Scott Glenn, a 31-year-old resident of Vallejo. The crash happened on Monday, March 18 just outside of Vallejo in the adjacent city of Benicia. The accident involved only one vehicle, and no other people were involved. California Highway Patrol (CHP) officials say that they are still investigating the crash to determine what may have caused it. I’d like to send my condolences out to Mr. Glenn’s loved ones while they are enduring this difficult time.

Santa Rosa Man Killed in Fairfield Accident

A serious car accident in Fairfield on Tuesday, March 19, left one person with injuries that ultimately cost him his life. Authorities have not yet identified the fatally injured individual. However, officials did say he was a 62-year-old man from Santa Rosa. According to reports, two other individuals also sustained injuries, one of whom was left with severe trauma due to the accident. I’d like to extend my sympathy to the deceased’s loved ones during this time of grieving.

Grieving After a Fatal Car Crash

Saying goodbye to somebody that you love is never easy, even though dying is a natural part of life. Learning to move on with your life without the support and love of your friend or family member can take time and often leaves people confused and upset. However, the process of grieving is usually even more difficult if your loved one’s death was caused by an accident that could have been prevented. Fatal accidents typically happen with no warning and people are faced with devastating news out of the blue. Knowing that the accident could have been prevented can make it even harder, and many people have a hard time processing their feelings.
