One Dead After Eureka Crash

California Highway Patrol (CHP) stated that one man tragically lost his life during an auto accident that happened in Eureka on Friday, July 5, 2019. The crash involved one vehicle which collided with the fatally injured man’s home. The decedent was identified by Humboldt County authorities as Bob Beland, a 64-year-old Eureka man and the owner of Humboldt Lock and Safe. Mr. Beland’s Wife, Elizabeth Martin, was also seriously injured as a result of the collision. Police have stated that the driver involved in the crash has been arrested on DUI charges related to this incident. Early Morning Eureka Area Crash Kills Three

Humboldt Area California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers reported that a local vehicle accident left three people with fatal injuries on Tuesday, June 25, 2019. The accident happened in the early morning, a few miles north of Eureka and reportedly only involved a single vehicle. The three fatally injured people were identified shortly after the accident occurred as James Cohee Jr., a 48-year-old Trinidad man, Chloe Chapman, a 28-year-old Eureka woman, and Cody Behler, a 32-year-old man from Arcata. Eureka Woman Identified Following Fatal Motorcycle Accident

The Solano County Sheriff’s Office has identified the woman who lost her life in a recent motorcycle accident in Fairfield as Mary Hadley, a 55-year-old resident of Eureka. The accident happened on Wednesday, March 27, 2019, and involved only a single motorcycle.
