Two Fatally Injured In Willows Area Crash

On Sunday, August 8, 2021, two people sadly passed away after being involved in a Willows area crash. Officers of the California Highway Patrol (CHP) state that the incident involved a single vehicle and happened in the morning just outside of the Bluegum. One decedent was identified as Glenda Seth Pickering, a 62-year-old woman from Longview, Washington. The other decedent was identified as a 56-year-old woman from Kelso, Washington, but authorities have not yet released her name pending family notification.

Motorcyclist Loses Life After Glenn County Crash

On Sunday, February 28, one person sadly lost his life during a motorcycle crash in Glenn County. The decedent was identified by Glenn County Sheriff’s Office authorities as a 76-year-old man, but officials are waiting to release his full identity until his family receives proper notification. California Highway Patrol (CHP) reports that no other vehicles or individuals were involved in this tragic collision.

On Saturday, July 11, 2020, a child was fatally injured during a Glenn County crash. The accident occurred in the morning and involved a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer. Teenager Killed in Car Crash Involving CHP Officer

An investigation is being conducted to determine if distracted driving may have been a factor in a tragic auto accident involving a CHP officer. The officer’s cruiser struck the rear of a car carrying a 15-year old from Willows, California. The boy died as a result of the injuries he sustained in the crash.
