Nadine Avenue Collision Caused When Driver Attempts a U-Turn

A two-vehicle collision in Modesto on May 2 resulted in the death of one person. The collision claimed the life of a 76-year-old resident of Ceres at around 12:05 p.m. along Nadine Avenue, which is west of Musick Avenue. According to the police report by the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the man was in his Nissan sedan and had stopped along the curb of Nadine Avenue going eastbound and didn’t spot a Honda sedan, which pulled out to perform a U-turn and broadsided the Nissan. 

Accident on Santa Fe Avenue Causes Two Fatalities

A head-on collision in Modesto involving a Chevrolet SUV and a Dodge Ram truck with a flatbed resulted in the deaths of the Chevy driver and her passenger on April 28. The accident claimed the lives of two Denair residents, a woman, age 48, and a female minor, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The two females suffered critical injuries and were transported to Memorial Medical Center, where they both died.

Modesto Man Injured in Crash on Highway 49

A man from Modesto was injured in a head-on crash on Highway 49 in the San Andreas area on Tuesday, April 20, 2021. The incident occurred on State Route 49 just north of SR-12, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

Fatal Car Accident in Stanislaus County

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) recently reported that a mother and daughter were killed in a recent fatal car accident in Stanislaus County. According to CHP traffic officials, a driver of a box truck reportedly admitted to briefly looking away from the road while reaching for an item in the truck.

Highway 99 Accident May Have Been Caused by Racing Drivers

A serious injury occurred to a pregnant woman in Modesto on March 14. The pregnant woman, 25, was driving a Chevy Traverse with her baby and minor child when the accident happened, according to the report by the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The accident happened around 4:00 in the afternoon along northbound Highway 99 near Crows Landing and Zeff roads.

One Killed in Fatal Car Accident in Modesto Area

One party was killed, and six others were hurt after two vehicles were involved in a fatal car accident near the Modesto area on Saturday, December 5, 2020. Crews from Stanislaus Consolidated Fire and Modesto Fire Department were dispatched to the scene of the deadly incident shortly after 10:10 p.m. at the intersection of Langworth Road and Claribel Road. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that one of the drivers involved in the motor vehicle collision was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed. The driver, a 19-year-old Modesto man, allegedly failed to stop at the stop sign posted at the intersection and collided with the second vehicle and a power pole.

Driver in Critical Condition After Crash in Modesto

The Modesto Police Department (Modesto PD) reported that a driver was in critical condition after a crash on North Ninth Street and Coldwell Avenue on the night of Thursday, November 26, 2020. The car accident occurred when a driver of a minivan full of people made an eastbound turn onto Coldwell Avenue from the southbound lanes of Ninth Street, the Modesto PD reported. While doing so, the minivan was involved in a collision with a northbound Volkswagen Jetta. Authorities believe that one of the vehicles ran a red light. However, further investigation into the traffic collision is necessary before officials release which party was at fault.

Two Modesto Residents Killed in Fatal Car Accident

Two residents of Modesto were killed in a fatal car accident that involved five vehicles on Claribel Road and McHenry Avenue on the night of Tuesday, November 17, 2020. At approximately 7:00 p.m., a driver of a Nissan Altima, identified as a 27-year-old man, was headed northbound on McHenry Avenue with a passenger. The Nissan driver reportedly ran a red light at the intersection with Claribel Road. A 46-year-old Salida woman was driving a Lexus SUV westbound toward the intersection and broadsided the passenger side of the Nissan. Both drivers were hospitalized for serious injuries. Sadly, the Nissan driver succumbed to his injuries during hospitalization, and his passenger passed away at the crash scene. The Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office has identified the passenger as 34-year-old Krystal Mobley of Modesto.
