A preliminary investigation by CHP traffic officers revealed that six teenagers were involved in a single-vehicle accident. The driver of the car was identified as a 19-year-old Riverbank man. Sadly, she succumbed to her injuries at the scene. The four other passengers in the vehicle were identified as minors ranging in age from 14 to 19 years old. Three teenagers were identified as residents of Modesto, while the other one was from Oakdale. Further details on the fatal car accident were not immediately available.
Loss of a Loved One in a Wrongful Death Car Accident
When a family has suffered the unexpected loss of a close relative, the last thing on their mind may be taking legal action against those responsible. However, it is essential to keep in mind that seeking justice on behalf of a loved one lost in a wrongful death car accident can play a pivotal role in serving as a message for the community that negligence of any type will not be tolerated.
An experienced Modesto wrongful death attorney understands the challenges survivors experience after fatal car accidents. That is why it is their goal to protect surviving family members from difficult insurance companies and defense counsel looking to downplay the value of their wrongful death claims or outright denying them. Each family impacted by such a situation deserves justice and fair compensation for their loss, and an attorney can obtain that on their behalf.
When a family is prepared to take legal action, it is best to schedule a free consultation with the best wrongful death lawyer in the area.
