Deadly Pedestrian Accident in South Sacramento

A deadly pedestrian accident occurred in Sacramento on March 19 shortly after 5:00 a.m. when an adult female was struck by a white van at Mack Road and Stockton Boulevard. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) responded to the accident first and notified local police. The accident happened when the driver of the van was moving southbound on Stockton Boulevard and struck the woman, who was reportedly in the roadway. I would like to offer my sympathy and prayers to the family and friends of the deceased woman in their time of loss and sorrow.

Head Injuries in a Sacramento Accident

On February 26, a pedestrian in Sacramento suffered head injuries after being struck by a motor vehicle at Elk Grove Florin Road and Vintage Park Drive. The accident happened at approximately 6:40 in the evening when a white Toyota Camry was reported as having struck the pedestrian, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The vehicle sped off after the collision without stopping and offering aid. The report goes on to say that the pedestrian was transported to Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento Medical Center for treatment and further evaluation. The accident is under investigation by the CHP to determine how it happened.

Disabled Pedestrian Accident in Sacramento

A disabled pedestrian accident occurred on Arden Way in North Sacramento in the early morning of January 26. The collision occurred in front of the Emerald Bay Apartments at about 5:40 a.m. when a vehicle struck a woman who was in a wheelchair. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), emergency personnel with Sac Fire were called to the scene, and it was determined that the woman needed attention at a hospital. An ambulance was summoned to transport her. No information has been released on how the disabled pedestrian accident occurred or whether the driver was being charged.

Sacramento Wheelchair Pedestrian Injured

A Sacramento wheelchair pedestrian was struck in a hit-and-run collision shortly before 9:00 in the morning near Florin Mall Drive on January 3. The Sacramento Fire Department was called to the scene of the accident to assess the woman’s injuries. It is unknown what hospital the woman was taken to for further treatment. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the accident occurred along the left side of eastbound Florin Mall Drive and Florin Road. The vehicle that struck the woman and left the scene of the accident was described as a white pickup.

A Sacramento wheelchair pedestrian accident occurred on December 26 shortly after noon along East Parkway and Florin Road in the southern part of the city. Details provided about the accident were few, and it was only reported by the California Highway Patrol (CHP) that an ambulance had been called to transport the wheelchair user to a hospital. 

Sacramento Pedestrian Injured Near Stockton Boulevard

A Sacramento pedestrian was reported as being injured when he was struck by a vehicle along Walter Avenue near the intersection with Stockton Boulevard on November 29 shortly after 9:30 in the morning. The Sacramento Fire Department arrived at the scene to assess the pedestrian’s injuries, and he was transported to the UC Davis Medical Center for further evaluation and treatment, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The hospital reported that the male patient had suffered injuries consistent with a traffic collision. No information has yet been released on the identity of the man who was struck or his condition.
