Two Hurt During Auto Accident in Placer County

An auto accident in Placer County that took place on Friday, July 10, 2020, left two people with injuries. The collision occurred in Granite Bay just south of Auburn and involved two vehicles, according to California Highway Patrol (CHP). The two injured drivers reportedly suffered severe trauma and were both hospitalized. The accident remains under investigation at this time.

Collision Information

The accident happened in the evening on Auburn Folsom Road close to the intersection located at Willow Valley Place. Details about the events leading up to the collision were not made available. However, police indicated that a pickup truck and a work truck were involved. The collision reportedly crushed the pickup truck’s hood and caused extreme damage to the driver’s side of the work vehicle.

The drivers of both vehicles were reportedly seriously hurt and both men were transported via ambulance to the Sutter Roseville Medical Center to receive medical care.

Investigation

CHP is investigating the possible causes of the crash but have not yet reported what factors, if any, are suspected. Multiple vehicle auto accidents happen often and can be complicated. With many accidents, there is more than one causal factor, including things that drivers are unable to control. Common non-driver car crash causes include things like broken or defective car parts as well as serious roadway issues like major potholes or poor design.

The Impact of a Serious Injury

The effects that a car accident injury can have on your life are often very serious. Firstly, the experience of being injured can be traumatic and the recovery process is usually painful as well as stressful. Regaining your health can take time as well as extensive medical procedures, which can be very expensive. Often, injury recovery requires surgeries, medicines, physical therapy sessions, and more. Taken altogether, these costs can add up to a very large amount of debt, which can leave crash survivors worried about their financial security.

Furthermore, being injured has the potential to make it difficult or even impossible to do your job. Suddenly losing income or earning potential makes it even harder to pay for the medical attention that you need.

Getting Help

Thankfully, crash survivors can reach out for help. By contacting an attorney and pursuing a personal injury claim, it is possible to hold negligent parties financially responsible for the losses that you suffered as a result of the accident. These claims can help people get the payments they need to cover medical bills and lost wages as well as make up for other damages, including wrecked vehicles, personal suffering, and more.

However, at-fault parties often attempt to avoid paying out the compensation that injured parties deserve. For this reason, it’s important to have an experienced attorney who will investigate your accident and put together a strong case on your behalf.
