Tracy Pedestrian Accident Fatally Injures Man

Accident Details
Officers from the Tracy Police Department received a report of a pedestrian accident along the 100 block of East 11th Street at approximately 10:43 pm. Paramedics were dispatched to the scene to transport the injured pedestrian to the San Joaquin County General Hospital. Unfortunately, their efforts were unsuccessful, and the victim succumbed to his injuries shortly after midnight.
Identity of Victim
The San Joaquin County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim of the pedestrian accident as 34-year-old Juan Amador Jr.
Accident Investigation
A cause of the pedestrian accident has not yet been decided due to an ongoing investigation. The driver of the vehicle reportedly remained at the scene and cooperated with officials. Authorities do not suspect alcohol or drugs as factors in the collision.
