The Yolo County Sheriff’s Office has since identified the decedent as Edwin Ortiz Hernandez, a 33-year-old Woodland man. The Woodland Police Department (WPD) reported that the crash involved one car and left an additional person with injuries that left him in the hospital. Updates on the condition of the injured man have not been released.

Tow-truck Driver Dies in Woodland Area Accident

On Tuesday, November 12, 2019, a tow-truck driver lost his life in an auto accident that took place just west of the city of Woodland. The driver has since been identified by Yolo County officials as Casey Joel Marston, a 41-year-old man and Woodland resident. According to information from California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers, the accident involved two vehicles and is still under active investigation. Woodland Pedestrian Fatally Injured During Crash

On Friday, October 25, 2019, a Woodland pedestrian lost his life after being involved in a car accident. According to reports from officials of the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the accident happened on a local highway and involved one vehicle as well as the fatally injured pedestrian. The decedent was identified on Wednesday, October 29, 2019, as Boris Miron, a local 28-year-old man and the father of six young girls. A GoFundMe page has been created on behalf of Boris Miron’s family to help cover his final resting expenses.

Two Dead After Woodland Area Crash
