A woman was killed after a traffic accident in Ceres, CA, on the morning of May 30, 2020. Officers from the Ceres Police Department were dispatched to the scene of the car accident at Central Avenue and Hatch Road shortly after 6:45 a.m. Upon arrival, authorities found two pickup trucks that had crashed in the intersection, a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado and a 1994 Chevrolet S10. The driver of the Silverado, a 53-year-old Modesto man, was transported to a hospital in Modesto for treatment. There were no passengers in his vehicle. Sadly, the driver of the S10 passed away at the scene. Her identity has not yet been released by authorities due to pending notification of her family members.

A woman was killed after a crash on Hatch Road and Central Avenue in Ceres, CA, on the morning of May 18, 2020. The car accident occurred shortly before 6:30 a.m. and involved a pickup truck and a red sedan. According to the Ceres Police Department (Ceres PD), the driver of the sedan was involved in a head-on collision with a pickup truck carrying two people. An ambulance arrived on site to transport the two parties inside the pickup to the hospital for treatment. Sadly, the driver of the sedan passed away at the scene. Officials have identified her as Martha Guzman of Modesto.

Teen Killed After Rollover Accident in Ceres

A teen was killed, and three others were injured after a rollover accident in Ceres on the afternoon of March 11, 2020. According to the Ceres Police Department, a vehicle collided with a power pole on Blaker Road and Service Road around 3:00 p.m. One of four occupants in the car, a 17-year-old boy, was ejected from the vehicle and suffered fatal injuries at the scene. The other three parties, a 16-year-old and two other 17-year-olds, all suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were hospitalized. The identities of those involved in the crash have not yet been released. However, police said the minors are students at Central Valley High School. Three weeks after the crash, authorities announced that the driver of the vehicle was booked into juvenile hall. He is facing charges of driving without a license and vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence. Additional details about the collision have not yet been disclosed.

Man Killed in Ceres Head-On Collision

A man was killed, and a woman was injured in a head-on collision between Keyes and Ceres, CA on the morning of December 22, 2019. The car accident occurred around 7:20 a.m. on Faith Home Road near Service Road. A Honda and a Chevrolet collided head-on in the area, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The Chevrolet driver suffered minor injuries, while the Honda driver was transported to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. Sadly, the driver of the Honda was later pronounced deceased during hospitalization. Officials have identified the decedent as 50-year-old Greg McAbee of Ceres.
