An Arden Arcade intersection crash between a motor vehicle and a motorcycle on March 11 resulted in injury to the biker. The accident was reported at about 6:25 in the evening at Morse Avenue and Churchill Road. An ambulance was called out for the motorcyclist, who suffered unknown injuries. An Arden Arcade pedestrian accident that caused a fatality occurred on December 27 when a woman, age 63, was struck by a vehicle on Howe Avenue, close to Delma Way. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered that the woman had been walking in a westerly direction along the northbound lanes at around 6:40 in the evening. A woman who was driving a Jeep struck the pedestrian, which propelled her into the roadway. Sadly, the pedestrian died at the scene of the accident. Arden-Arcade Crash at Intersection

An Arden-Arcade crash happened near the intersection of Marconi Avenue and Wright Street on December 20, which resulted in one person being taken to Kaiser North for treatment and further evaluation. The accident happened just after 10:00 in the morning. According to the report by the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the crash occurred between a Hyundai and Toyota, which left the roadway blocked along Marconi Avenue eastbound. Sacramento Fire Department personnel moved the vehicles to the Metro PCS parking lot to allow traffic to pass. The case is being investigated by CHP to determine a cause and to assign fault in the collision.

Arden-Arcade Bicycle Injury Accident

An Arden-Arcade bicycle injury occurred on December 20 when a hit-and-run driver struck a bicyclist who was walking a bike in a crosswalk. The accident happened shortly after 9:30 in the morning at Bell Street and Alta Arden Expressway. The vehicle in question was reported as a black Dodge 4D, which apparently left the scene without stopping. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) will actively be seeking the driver’s identity. If anyone saw the accident, they should contact the CHP with information about the incident.
