The decedent has been identified by authorities of the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office as James Kennemore, a 77-year-old man and resident of the state of Arizona. No other individuals were involved in the collision, and California Highway Patrol (CHP) is actively conducting an investigation into this incident.

Fort Bragg Man Fatally Injured After Rollover Highway Accident

On Sunday, June 21, 2020, a Fort Bragg man was fatally injured during an auto accident in Mendocino County. The decedent has since been identified by county officials as 24-year-old James Gardner. Gardner was reportedly the only individual involved in the solo-vehicle collision and the cause of the accident is currently under a California Highway Patrol (CHP) investigation.

Fort Bragg Woman Arrested for Hit-and-Run

California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that a Fort Bragg woman suspected of driving away from a fatal accident turned herself in on Monday, December 2, 2019. According to authorities, the 41-year-old woman was booked into the Mendocino County Jail just after 4:00 p.m. and faces felony hit-and-run charges. The woman reportedly turned herself in about a week after authorities issued warrants for her arrest.

Mendocino County Auto Accident Kills Two

Police have reported that two people lost their lives in a Mendocino County auto accident that took place near Fort Bragg on Saturday, November 9, 2019. The accident involved a single vehicle and went unnoticed until the wreck was discovered by a passerby two days after the crash occurred. Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office authorities have since identified the decedents as Gualala residents Diane Maxwell, a 52-year-old woman, and Alan Ricioli, a 52-year-old man. California Highway Patrol (CHP) is investigating the crash.

DUI Collision Kills Two Fort Bragg Women

On Tuesday, November 27, 2018, the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office released the identities of two women who tragically lost their lives in a recent area auto accident. The collision took place four days earlier on Friday, November 23, 2018, and officers say that they suspect the accident to have been caused by an intoxicated driver. The women were identified as Catherine Rhodes and Tracy Lane, who were 61 and 50 years old respectively. Both women were members of the Fort Bragg community. My deep sympathy and support are sent out to Lane and Rhodes’ grieving loved ones during this difficult time.
