Multiple Vehicle Accident near Somis

I’m Ed Smith, a Somis auto accident lawyer.  By now, you know that auto accidents happen for a variety of reasons.  Moreover, you also know that some auto accidents are foreseeable i.e. preventable and some simply are not. Nevertheless, when dealing with an auto accident that does not provide a lot of details into exactly why the crash occurred, it can be difficult to determine what to do next. This was the case, on March 6, 2017, when it was reported that three vehicles were involved in an accident along Highway 118 and School Road near Somis.

What Happened?

Around 4:30 p.m., authorities were called out to a multiple vehicle accident. It was reported that one individual was thrown from a vehicle upon impact. That person suffered traumatic injuries. Emergency personnel transported the injured party to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. All others involved in the multiple car pileup were unharmed, suffering no serious injuries. Both the California Highway Patrol (CHP) and local fire department assisted victims at the accident scene.

Who Was at Fault?

It is too early to know for sure. It takes law enforcement approximately one to two weeks to prepare a report of their findings. Even then, traffic collision reports can be in error or inconclusive. When you or someone you care about has been in a serious crash it is important to contact an experienced car accident lawyer who can thoroughly investigate the sequence of events leading up to the accident and properly determine fault. When someone is determined to have been negligent an attorney will procced with obtaining fair and just compensation for your damages. For more information contact an experienced lawyer.
