Clearlake Trucking Crash Causes Critical Injuries
A serious car accident happened north of Clearlake on Wednesday, February 20, 2019. According to area California Highway Patrol (CHP) authorities, the crash involved a big-rig as well as a pickup truck. The accident happened in the early afternoon and left at least one person with major trauma. The seriously injured individual(s) have not been identified by officials, and hospital staff has not released any updates regarding their condition(s). CHP says that they are actively investigating possible causes of the collision. I’d like to extend my support to the individuals whose lives have been affected by this serious accident.
Crash Details
CHP officers said that the accident was first reported at about 1:15 p.m. on Highway 20 in the area of Blue Lakes to the north of Clearlake. Details about the crash are not yet available, but CHP stated that the accident involved a pickup, a big-rig, and a power pole. Police reports also indicated that a medical helicopter was called to the scene of the accident to transport crash survivors to a hospital located in Santa Rosa.
