How Can an Attorney Help with My Truck Accident Case?

Sharing the road with a big rig, box truck, and other large vehicles may be a challenging experience for drivers. Given the overwhelming size and weight of a commercial truck, accidents involving these vehicles are more likely to be catastrophic than those involving passenger cars. The unfortunate reality is that a truck crash may cause traumatic injuries or prove fatal for occupants of smaller vehicles. Even when liability is clear, an injured party may find themselves in an uphill battle dealing with trucking companies and their insurers trying to pay as little as possible on a bodily injury claim. Working with an experienced Fremont truck accident lawyer will work to your benefit in your situation.

When you hire our legal team to represent you in a commercial truck accident case, we will get to work right away to build a strong case for maximum compensation on your behalf. We will conduct an independent investigation of the incident, gather evidence, work with expert witnesses to establish liability and damages, and negotiate with the other side. Letters of preservation of evidence must be sent right away before it is lost or destroyed. Remember that evidence is essential to proving any case, including black box data, driver’s logs, truck maintenance logs, and other documentation. Given that more than one party may bear liability for the incident, it is essential to gather evidence demonstrating negligence on the part of those parties and entities.
