The crash took place at approximately 6:40 p.m. on May 13, 2026, on Whiting Street. According to police, the collision involved a bicyclist and a vehicle.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found the child suffering from critical injuries. Emergency responders arranged for the victim to be airlifted to a Sacramento-area trauma center for advanced medical treatment.
