South River Road Traffic Fatality

I’m Ed Smith, a Clarksburg car accident lawyer. A 34-year-old man from Sacramento lost his life on Tuesday, April 5, 2016.

What Happened?

John Her of Sacramento, was behind the wheel of his 2000 Honda Civic. He was headed in the southbound direction of travel just south of Babel Slough Road. For reasons which remain unclear, his car crossed the double yellow center line into the northbound direction of travel. His car struck a 2003 Chevy pick up head on at approximately 45 mph.

Sadly, the driver of the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene by rescue personnel. No information was available as to the condition of the driver of the Chevy pick up. He is a 55-year-old man who is a resident of Elk Grove.

What Caused South River Road Traffic Fatality?

Investigators indicated that drugs and alcohol do not appear to have been a factor in this crash. The accident is currently being investigated by the California Highway Patrol.

What City did Accident Occur?

The location of this accident was in the vicinity of 32200 South River Road between Clarksburg and West Sacramento.
