September 2018 Rancho Cordova Community Events – Rancho Cordova is a beautiful, fairly new city that was incorporated into Sacramento County in 2003. The city is the largest sub-center for employment across the general Sacramento area, attracting more than 50,000 commuters. With so many reasons to be in Rancho Cordova, it should not be shocking that the city is home to many fun and exciting social activities as well. Below I have gathered a detailed list of some upcoming local events that can be enjoyed with friends and family. Continue reading to find one that captures your interest.

Soil Born Farms Farm Stand

Date: Saturday, September 22, 2018

Time: 8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Location: 2140 Chase Drive, Rancho Cordova, CA 95870

Admission: Free

If you enjoy farmer’s markets, this farm stand will give off the same atmosphere with a more intimate setting at the Soil Born Farms in Rancho Cordova. There will be fun and interactive activities, classes, and tours going on over the course of the 4.5-hour event. Attendants can taste fresh farm-to-fork produce, sip on organic coffee, and savor the delicious baked goods courtesy of Magpie Café. Food and beverage will also be available for purchase. Everyone is encouraged to walk or bike to the ranch, bring a recyclable shopping bag and give yourself a self-guided tour of the farm.

Pig Bowl/Guns & Hoses Wine, Brew & Food Festival

Date: Saturday, September 29, 2018

Time: 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Location: 11211 Point East Drive, Rancho Cordova, CA 95742

Admission: $40 – $75 tickets

The Pig Bowl Association along with Guns and Hoses are excited to present the 11th annual Wine, Brew, and Food Festival. You are cordially invited to the Rancho Cordova Marriott for a festive Saturday evening full of wine sampling, cuisine by local restaurants as well as caterers, and craft beers. In addition to the good food and brews, participants can enjoy a silent auction to raise money for a good cause. All event proceeds will be donated to Sacramento charities. This event is only for those ages 21 years or older.

Heartstoppers Haunted House

Date: Saturday, September 29, 2018

Time: 7:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.

Location: 2300 Mine Shaft Lane, Rancho Cordova, CA 95742

Admission: $25 – $80 tickets

Heartstoppers are back and better than ever before! As one of the finest haunted house attractions in the Sacramento area, this event also functions as one of the primary fundraising activities set up by the Cordova Community Council. Year after year, crew members gather to have some spooky fun in the name of Halloween. Whether you would like to participate as a crew member or a visitor, we hope to see you for a night of screams, thrills, and scary-good fun.
