Determination of Liability in Accidents

A compensation award when someone else is negligent includes medical expenses, lost wages, and pain and suffering. Our law firm has successfully handled many compensation claims over the years. Injury lawyers work on a contingency basis, which means you pay nothing unless your case is resolved successfully.

Investigating a Pedestrian Injury Claim

Evidence is gathered and investigated to support a client’s pedestrian injury claim when a Sacramento driver fled the scene. To conduct an effective investigation, we interview witnesses and examine surveillance cameras in the area. In addition, we examine the police report for accuracy and conduct accident reconstruction to determine what happened to cause the crash. Our accident attorneys use the evidence collected in the case to build a robust case that supports our client’s claim.

Head Injuries in a Pedestrian Accident

An injured pedestrian can recover compensation from a negligent person when the Sacramento driver fled the scene of an accident. Our office has located several fleeing drivers over the years by investigating the case to find them. We believe it is unjust for an injured person to face financial losses when the accident wasn’t their fault. Compensation recovery is significant where head injuries are involved because they can require extensive hospitalization and treatment.

The injured person can recover compensation by using a lawyer’s assistance to file a personal injury claim. Some of the recoverable damages include:

  • You can recover the medical costs that arise from your injury.
  • If you lose wages from being unable to work, the money you lost is recoverable.
  • You can get compensation for your physical and emotional pain and suffering.
