Determination Being Made on Cause of Highway Crash

At least one of the people involved in the crash was transported by ambulance to Mercy San Juan Medical Center with undisclosed trauma following the Roseville interstate accident. The lanes were reopened around 7:40 p.m. The CHP traffic unit is conducting an investigation into the accident’s cause.

The Right to Compensation After an Injury Accident

Injured people have the right to obtain compensation when they have been injured by another person or entity’s negligence in a Roseville interstate accident. Getting the help of an injury lawyer can lead to compensation that is two to three times higher than negotiating on your own. Furthermore, injury attorneys work on a contingency basis, which means you never pay them until your case is won. There are a number of areas in which compensation can be recovered, including:

  • Medical expenses: A person’s medical costs associated with an accident injury are recoverable. This includes ambulance and hospital fees, doctor’s bills, and other related expenses. The cost of ongoing treatment is factored into the settlement or award if your injury is ongoing.
  • Wages: The injury sustained in a traffic collision may prevent someone from earning a living, and they may not be able to work until they recover. It is common for people to take sick time to compensate for losses. It is possible to recover the wages that they would have normally earned, including bonuses, pensions, insurance benefits, and others. The loss of income is calculated if the employee is forced to take a lower-paying job or becomes permanently disabled. If the individual is permanently disabled, compensation would be provided until their retirement age.
  • Physical pain and suffering compensation: You may be entitled to compensation if you have suffered physical pain and suffering. With the help of an injury lawyer, injured parties can also recover compensation for their psychological and emotional suffering. A surprisingly high percentage of those injured in a traffic collision end up suffering post-traumatic stress disorder, and treatment for this condition is recoverable.
