Injuries and Fatality Reported in Rollover Crash Near Yuba City on Highway 99

A rollover crash near Yuba City killed the driver and injured two others on May 20. The accident occurred along Highway 99 between Lincoln and Richland roads shortly after 2:00 a.m. Witnesses to the accident, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), said the car was weaving and couldn’t stay in the lane.

Two passengers, Yuba City resident Raymond Green, age 28, and a young minor, were transported to hospitals with minor trauma. Police say they suspect drugs may have been involved as a factor in the collision. The highway remained closed for around two hours as CHP traffic accident detectives conducted an investigation.
