A pedestrian dies after a hit-and-run crash on Ramona Ave in Sacramento, according to the Sacramento Police Department. The collision occurred on June 23, 2026, on Ramona Avenue, south of Folsom Boulevard and near Granite Regional Park.
According to police, a driver struck a legally parked vehicle. The force of the impact caused the parked vehicle to strike a man who was nearby, leaving him with critical injuries.
Driver Fled the Scene
Authorities said the driver responsible for the collision fled the scene before officers arrived.
Investigators later located the suspect vehicle abandoned, but no information has been released regarding the identity of the driver or whether an arrest has been made.
Victim Succumbs to Injuries
