Old Sacramento Pokemon Go Hot Spot

Old Sacramento Pokemon Go Hot Spot

I’m Ed Smith, a West Sacramento Personal Injury Lawyer. Old Sacramento is home to the historic foundation of the city of Sacramento. Some business owners in the Old Sacramento area have been observing an increase in sales and foot traffic in the past two weeks due to the hype of the new game, Pokemon Go.

Why Is Old Sacramento A Pokemon Go Hot Spot?

Old Sacramento is home to multiple Pokestops. This has attracted countless Pokemon Go players since the game launched approximately two weeks ago. Finding water Pokemon is very uncommon in the city of Sacramento, however, Old Sacramento is home to finding good water Pokemon. According to Brooksie Hughes from the Downtown Sacramento Partnership, the business sector goes through a slow time of the year due to the state fair. However, the release of the Pokemon Go app has Old Sacramento business owners reporting from 50 to 300 percent revenue increases.

Old Sacramento Business Owners Welcome Pokemon Go Players

The Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory have released a new delicacy of the Pokeball caramel apples for when Pokemon Go players get hungry on the go. Some Old Sacramento businesses have also created stations to allow Pokemon Go players to charge their phones to carry on the fun without being left with a dead cell phone or tablet device. The owner of Willie’s Burgers, Greg Taylor, is welcoming the Pokemon Go group to his restaurant. Taylor states that he has kept his restaurant open until one or two in the morning for his customers and has given raises and bonuses to his fellow work crew for performing extended hours of work. Greg Taylor indicated that his business has been up dramatically over the last month. Brooksie Hughes also made a statement that the flow of visitors to the Old Sacramento area has increased from 20 to 25 percent after the launch of the Pokemon Go game.
