Napa Humane’s 7th Annual Walk for Animals

Date: Sunday, August 5, 2018

Time: 7:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Admission: $35 – $45 registration

Get ready to move your paws for the cause at this fun family-friendly event. Participants will take a short stroll along Napa’s Riverfront in support of the companion animals of Napa Valley. All animal-loving walkers are invited to Oxbow Commons to participate with their dog, or even in memory of a beloved pet. This morning event will include music, raffles, contests, giveaways, a silent auction, and tons of activities for people and their furry friends. All event proceeds will go towards the lifesaving services and programs of Napa Humane.

Afternoon Sunday Tea @ Ackerman Heritage House

Date: Sunday, August 19, 2018

Time: 12:00 p.m. & 2:30 p.m.

Location: 608 Randolph Street, Napa, CA 94559

Admission: $67 reservation

Enjoy the tradition of a Sunday English tea party at the historic Ackerman Heritage House. Tea will be served in the sitting room along with delightful tea sandwiches, cakes, and pastries. All snacks will be served on antique silver, linens, and tableware. Guests will also receive an enchanting tour of the restored 1888 home of Queen Anne Victorian.

Napa Farmers Market

Date: Tuesday, August 21 & Saturday, August 25, 2018

Time: 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Admission: Free

This farmers market showcases the goods and services of the finest farms and talented artisans of Northern California. The warm Mediterranean climate that ripens our wine grapes also yields fruits, cheeses, and vegetables of delectable quality. Come support and connect with your community at our venue featuring over 60 regional farms, many of which are certified organic. Live chef demonstrations will inform consumers about easy, nutritious meals that can be cooked at home. Kid-friendly activities will also teach the upcoming generation about local agriculture and healthy eating. Don’t miss out on this free, delicious, and informative community event.
