Chain-Reaction Crash Involves Multiple Vehicles
The collision was reported at approximately 5:56 p.m. Initial dispatch information indicated that six to ten vehicles were involved, including three SUVs, a semi-truck, a blue sedan, and two additional vehicles.
One vehicle came to rest in the center divider, while several others stopped along the right shoulder. Debris from the crash was scattered across multiple travel lanes, creating traffic hazards for approaching motorists.
Minor Injuries Reported
Emergency medical personnel responded after reports that one of the vehicles sustained heavy damage. The incident was later reclassified as a minor-injury collision.
By approximately 6:13 p.m., all vehicles had been moved to the right shoulder, allowing crews to clear the roadway a short time later.
