Motorcyclist Killed Near Tierra Buena and Eager Roads in Rural Sutter County Crash
A 30-year-old motorcyclist killed near Tierra Buena and Eager Roads following a crash in rural Sutter County late Sunday night, June 7, 2026, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
CHP officers responded around 9:30 p.m. to the area of Tierra Buena Road and Eager Road after receiving reports of a motorcycle crash.
When first responders arrived, they discovered that the motorcycle had left the roadway and crashed in an orchard. Authorities said the rider was ejected during the collision and suffered fatal injuries.
Rider Pronounced Dead at the Scene
Despite emergency response efforts, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead as a result of injuries sustained in the crash. Officials identified the victim only as a 30-year-old man. His name has not yet been released pending notification of family members.
Investigation Continues
CHP investigators are working to determine what caused the motorcycle to leave the roadway. No information has been released regarding whether speed, impairment, roadway conditions, or other factors may have contributed to the crash.
