Morada Head-On Crash Fatality
A Morada head-on crash fatality occurred on the afternoon of February 10 along East Highway 99 Frontage Road in the vicinity of Morada Lane. A driver of an older model Honda Accord was traveling northbound along the highway when they approached a right curve in the road. The driver reportedly entered the oncoming traffic lane and collided head-on with a southbound Subaru Forester. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), both vehicles were traveling at an estimated speed of 35 to 40 miles per hour at the time of the collision. Two adults and a child riding in the Subaru were uninjured in the auto accident. Three of the four occupants in the Honda, including the motorist, suffered injuries described as minor to severe. They were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Sadly, the other passenger of the Honda passed away at the scene. Officials have identified the decedent as 67-year-old Yean Im of Stockton.
