36-Year-Old Man Killed in Solo-Vehicle Crash on SR-160 in Sacramento County

A 36-year-old man killed in solo-vehicle crash on SR-160 in Sacramento County. The South Sacramento division of the California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that a 36-year-old man lost his life in a solo-vehicle accident late Sunday night, August 10, 2025.

According to officials, the man was traveling on State Route 160, south of Brannan Island Road, at approximately 11:00 p.m. when his vehicle crossed the southbound lane, left the roadway, and collided with a guardrail.

Authorities have not determined the vehicle’s speed at the time of the crash. CHP noted the man was not wearing a seatbelt. The cause remains under investigation.
