A man killed in late-night crash on Highway 160 near Sacramento. A tragic single-vehicle crash claimed the life of 36-year-old man of Lodi on Sunday night, August 10, 2025, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The collision occurred around 11:10 p.m. on northbound Highway 160 near West Brannan Island Road in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta region.

CHP investigators reported that the vehicle veered into the southbound lane before striking a guardrail that separates the highway from the Sacramento River. Mr. Figueroa, who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time, was ejected from the vehicle and tragically pronounced dead at the scene. It is not yet known whether alcohol or other factors contributed to the crash, and the incident remains under investigation.
