72-Year-Old Man Killed in Head-On Crash on Feather River Blvd near Myrna Ave

A man killed in head-on crash on Feather River Blvd near Myrna Ave on Friday night, October 3, 2025, in Olivehurst, just north of Sacramento.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), a 72-year-old man driving a Chevy S-10 southbound crossed into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a Ford traveling north. The driver of the Chevy, a resident of Plumas Lake, died at the scene.

The passenger in the Ford was transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. Authorities have not released further details, and an investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
