Man Identified After Deadly Napa Crash

On Tuesday, November 26, 2019, authorities of the Napa County Sheriff’s Office released the identity of an individual who tragically lost his life a day earlier during a deadly Napa crash. The decedent was identified as Ramon Tinajero Romero, a 24-year-old Napa resident. A GoFundMe page has been created to help raise funds for Ramon Tinajero Jr.’s funeral expenses.

Crash Information

The crash only involved one vehicle and is reportedly being investigated by the Napa Police Department (NPD). NPD stated that the accident was reported to police shortly after 6:00 p.m. on Monday, November 25, 2019. Staff from the NPD Accident reconstruction team stated that, after preliminary investigations, they believe that Romero was driving north on Napa Valley Corporate Drive before his vehicle veered for unknown reasons. The vehicle eventually exited the road and traveled a short distance before striking a nearby tree head-on.

Investigation

Traffic reports indicated Napa Valley Corporate Drive was closed to traffic for eight hours while the scene was processed by investigators attempting to determine what may have caused this accident to happen. However, police have not yet reported any suspected factors. Additionally, NPD has asked for help with their investigation from anybody who may know details about the crash. Those who would like to report what they know should get in touch with Officer Josh O’Mary by calling (707) 257-9223.

When the driver of a vehicle loses their life, investigators lose a very important source of information and often end up with an incomplete picture of what took place. Important factors like defective vehicle parts or phantom drivers can potentially go unnoticed during official investigations, which can mean that families aren’t able to hold at-fault parties responsible for damages. This is why it’s important to have a Napa wrongful death lawyer on your case as soon as possible. A skilled attorney will be able to launch a private investigation into what factors caused the accident.

Wrongful Death Damages

When a family member passes away, it can be overwhelming. Most people experience very difficult emotions and can have a difficult time keeping up with their normal routine while processing their grief. Unfortunately, families also often have to deal with serious financial issues following fatal crashes, including loss of income, medical expenses, funeral costs, and more.

In order to have financial stability during such a traumatic time, families of decedents can file wrongful death claims against negligent parties in order to recover payments for their damages. In many cases, families can obtain compensation for the full amount of losses they have suffered, including both economic and personal damages. However, wrongful death cases are complicated, and it’s important to have the advice of an expert before you take any action. Fortunately, most injury lawyers are happy to offer you a free consultation over the phone so that you can get the information you need.
