5th Annual Sacramento Taco Festival

Date: Saturday, June 2, 2018

Time: 10:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Location: 1901 Del Paso Boulevard, Sacramento, CA 95815

Admission: $7 – $10 tickets online

As demonstrated by the nationwide celebration of Taco Tuesday each week, Americans are obsessed with this Mexican specialty. At this taco festival, there will be over 25 taco truck vendors, taco-eating contests, two performance stages, creative art demonstrations, Lucha Libre (professional wrestling) and a margarita garden. This event is also pet-friendly as long as your furry friends are restrained by a leash. There will also be a children’s zone for all kids to play while adults eat their hearts out.

Float-In Movie Night

Date: Friday, June 8, 2018

Time: 7:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.

Location: 7350 Palmer House Drive, Sacramento, CA 95828

Admission: $3 – $4 tickets

The Rutter Swim Center is eager to be hosting this family-friendly event that combines summer pool nights with movie nights. The featured movie for this specific night is no other than Disney’s Moana. If this event sparks your interest, bring your whole family for a night of recreational swimming and film.

Sacramento Pride

Date: Sunday, June 10, 2018

Time: 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Location: 1300 7th Street, Capitol Mall, Sacramento, CA 95814

Admission: $10 tickets online

This commemoration is the largest community engagement event organized by the Sacramento LGBT Community Center. Acceptance, diversity, and pride are just some of the main themes that are emphasized in this open-to-all parade. This event will offer a dance pavilion, live music, food trucks, local vendors and unique service booths.

Do Good Summit

Date: Wednesday, June 13, 2018

Time: 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Location: 500 David J Stern Walk, Sacramento, CA 95814

Admission: Free registration online

If you are affiliated with any non-profit organizations, this is your chance to pair up with the Sacramento Kings Foundation. This informative meeting will allow organizations to discuss potential partnerships that will be mutually beneficial over the 2018-2019 season. Doors at the Golden 1 Center will open for check-ins around 3:00 p.m.
